About the role

- Control plant startup, normal operations, and shutdown activities through the DCS. - Monitor and adjust operating conditions and process parameters. - Operate Emerson DeltaV control system panels. - Respond appropriately to plant emergencies and operational upsets. - Coordinate with relevant teams during startup, shutdown, emergencies, and unit disturbances. - Operate and troubleshoot plant equipment. - Provide operational instructions to field operators. - Ensure all activities are conducted safely and in accordance with the Permit-to-Work system. - Maintain process specifications within the client’s approved limits. - Support the Shift Supervisor in running the plant and covering operational requirements. - Report equipment defects and coordinate with the Maintenance team for rectification. - Prepare daily and monthly production reports.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, B.Tech, or Diploma in: Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering
Degree holders: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Diploma holders: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.

Skills

Strong knowledge of DCS plant operations.Practical experience with Emerson DeltaV systems.Ability to manage plant startup, shutdown, and emergency situations.Plant equipment operation and troubleshooting skills.Good knowledge of Permit-to-Work and safe operating requirements.Effective communication and coordination skills.Ability to prepare accurate production reports.Ability to guide and coordinate field operators.
