About the role

- Perform and supervise plant mechanical operations and maintenance activities. - Conduct detailed inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mechanical equipment. - Handle and service centrifugal and reciprocating pumps. - Supervise the erection and construction of rotary and static equipment. - Prepare daily work schedules and distribute tasks among workers. - Conduct weekly safety meetings and communicate new safety rules and safety observations. - Review and study equipment operation manuals to support optimum production. - Coordinate mechanical maintenance and erection activities in accordance with operational and safety requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience in mechanical maintenance and erection of rotary and static equipment.
Experience in plant mechanical operations and maintenance.
KOC approval is required/preferred, as applicable.

Skills

Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.Good knowledge of rotary and static equipment.Knowledge of maintenance workshops and plant drawings.Good understanding of safety valves and various types of valves.Ability to use and handle precision tools effectively.Good supervisory and workforce coordination skills.Strong safety awareness and ability to conduct safety meetings.Ability to read and understand equipment operation manuals.Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
